Gift Card Holder and Gift Bag

I made this gift card holder and gift bag for a challenge over at Staying Crafty. It was my first time using the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More download I got with my new Gypsy last month! I had fun doing this project. Not to mention I'm entering it in this challenge over at Staying Crafty . She is giving away the new Winter Lace Cricut Cartridge which just happens to be the only 1 of the new cartridges that I really want!

Breast Cancer Awareness Cards

With it being the month of October it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. At the beginning of October Theresa The Scrapbooking Queen put out a challenge! This challenge is about giving back to the community...and to bring a little sunshine to someone who is fighting breast cancer.

We were asked to:

1. Create a card (s) that will bring joy to someone who is fighting Breast Cancer.
2. Make it PINK... Please use pink as your main color, other colors are o.k. too.

3. Post this challenge on Facebook to spread the word!

4. Email your photo of your card to TheScrapbookingQueen1@gmail.com

5. After emailing your photo please send your card (s) to The Queen and she will deliver them to a women's center where they will be distributed to women fighting this terrible disease.

Well I set out to make atleast 50 cards by October 15th. Then Scrapbook Queen was then kind enough to extend the challenge to October 25th! I needed a new goal! Well I set my goal at 75! In the end I had made 80 cards!

I am so proud of myself. I am new to card making so I learned a ton of new things! But the best thing of all is I got to know Theresa The Scrapbooking Queen through this challenge. I put a smile on some ladies faces and I also made a new friend! Can't beat that!

I'm so excited!

On black Friday last year to my surprise my boyfriend bought me my Cricut Expression. Right after I got it I was looking around for things to get for it. I came across the Gypsy! No way was I gonna ever get one of those I thought. I should just be happy I have a Cricut! Well I have eyed them for the last almost year... Till I saw this on Cricut Machine.com. And my boyfriend caved and bought it for me! I'm so excited!

Sketch Challenge

This is my take on the sketch challenge! I made a scrapbook page for Noah's 2nd halloween!

This is a card I made for The Scrapbooking Queen's Breast Cancer Awareness Challenge! As of last night I have made 50 cards. I plan on making more but this is my favorite card I have made so far! It's not to late to make a card... You have until 10/25 to make one!

I think I am happy with the way my blog looks finally!!! I've been back and forth with how I wanted it to look.... what better color than pink for a princess!!! So pink it is and I love it.... :)

Halloween Explosion Boxes!

My friend over at Paper or Fabric Crafter had a little paper give away called Pass It On. She made Halloween cards for Operation Write Home and a a ton of scraps left over. She picked 2 lucky winners and sent the scraps to them. How cool is that! I won! This is what I made! They are Explosion Boxes to put photo's in!

Noah's 1st Birthday

~ For Noah's 1st birthday we had a Sesame Street party. I used Elmo Party, Sesame Street Friends and Sesame Street Font cartridges.

Vacation Summer 2010

Our summer family trip this year is going to Philadelphia and New Jersey for The 4th of July. I made this shirt with my Cricut Expression and the Independence Day Cricut cartridge for my 1 year old son Noah. I plan to make them for his older brothers; Nicholas (12), Andre (12) and Nathaniel (11).
